Butterfly of Unfinished Dreams
Stories written and lost

Butterfly of Unfinished Dreams
Your wings are torn with beauty’s weight,
Each colour hides a story lost,
You rise from ashes soft as dust,
And still believe the flight is worth the cost.
You carry sorrow in your glow,
The ache of change that breaks and heals,
To fly means leaving what you were,
To live is to forget what feels.
You hover over graves of time,
Each bloom beneath you once was whole,
You take their scent and make it yours,
A thief of life, a soul of soul.
But beauty is a fleeting cage,
It traps you in what eyes desire,
You burn too close to mortal want,
And fall again through fading fire.
Still you rise, soft ghost of grace,
You dance between the worlds unseen,
A symbol of what cannot last,
A breath of pain disguised as dream.
