Butterfly effect

Like a guard of a garden where the butterflies float

She corals all the stars in his sky with her hands

And he hangs on the edge of sweet dreams full of hope

Watching them flutter to see where they land

She creates worlds of fancy to convince him to sleep

And while he is sleeping his worries she keeps

For while she is protecting he surrenders his will

And for a few hours he wanders in dreams where he wills

And he floats with the butterflies up high in the sky

Until he awakens under her watchful eye

He is safe and protected like a lion with her cub

Surrounded forever with kisses and ❤️ love
