The best scent of fall.

Month of wonderous cold,

I always feel so old.

It flies by in a flash,

Wish it will last.

Month of beautiful wonder,

Delight at nature’s splendor.

Smell of burning leaves,

And how can it please.

Light lasting on your skin,

A subtle frost has set in.

Wrapped in wonderous delight,

Falling faster at the night.

A step outside the door,

Leaves me wanting more.

It comes by way too fast,

Wish I can make it last.

Halloween is coming soon,

Been preparing for it since June.

Wish this feeling stayed forever,

My spooky dreams would end never.
