Bruises

From the Series "Love's Injuries"

By Chloe kuhnPublished 8 years ago • 1 min read

My sheer cover is stained by your touch

I didn’t want it to ever stop

I spoke with my eyes, questioning your next move

Your hands on my legs

Your lips on my neck

They form something else besides words there

A bruise

A symbol of your claiming me

I’m yours

My muscles finally give in, any opposition fading fast

You guided me just where I needed to go

My hands inside yours

My lips on your collar

A kiss becomes more passionate there

Now you have

A bruise

A symbol I was closer to you

You’re mine
