Beyond the Name: The Essence of True Love

Love’s not just a word, nor should it bring you shame, It’s deeper than the surface, more than a name. It’s not used to deceive, nor to ensnare, But to find the truth, and show we care.

From heartbreak to make up, which is hard to do, With the “I love you’s” that ain’t even true. Just another game plan plotted by the next, A cycle of pain, a bruised heart’s complex.

Yet in this ache, there’s a lesson to learn, To guard our hearts, to discern. For love is a journey, not just a phrase, A path of growth, through all its phases.

So let us heal, let us mend, Our bruised hearts, on this we depend. To find the love that’s real and true, A love that’s kind, and just for you.

In the garden of our souls, we plant the seeds of care, Nurturing them with patience, as we repair. The thorns of past hurts may prick and may bleed, But with time and tender love, we’ll find our need.

The salve of self-love soothes the deepest wound, As we stitch the fabric of our heart with care. Each thread a promise, each knot a vow, To rise above the pain, and find peace now.

In the mirror of our soul, we gaze and we see, The beauty of our spirit, wild and free. Self-love is the balm that heals the deepest scar, A gentle whisper, “You are enough,” from afar.
