This June I dedicate this to the brother of mind.

Unfocused on the mental health of self. You’re one of a kind.

Your male brain is a maze. Staring off into space with a vacant gaze.

The world is convinced by your looks that you’re unfazed.

Peaceful on the outside, but your heart has been smothered in violence.

The world conditioned you to believe you had to suffer in silence.

No need to cue the violins because your tears wouldn’t roll with them.

Don’t be ashamed of the pain attached to your inner self.

You’re a man and it’s okay to talk about your mental health.

Check out my first book “Melanin Memoirs” out not on Amazon and Kindle.
