Broken Wings

In this poem, I have tried to express how heartbreak feels

Heartbreak, a feeling like a weight,

Crushing down, upon my fate.

A pain, that cuts, like a knife,

A wound, that bleeds, on with life.

Heartbreak, a feeling so cold,

An emptiness, that won't be consoled.

A loneliness, that echoes through the night,

A darkness, that dims, the morning light.

Heartbreak, a feeling so raw,

A vulnerability, that leaves you in awe.

A shattered dream, that once shone bright,

A loss, that makes, the future seem blight.

Heartbreak, a feeling so true,

A reminder, that love can make you blue.

But time will heal, this aching heart,

And love will come, and make a new start.

It's important to remember that everyone experiences and processes heartbreak differently, and that it is a normal and natural part of life. It can be hard and painful, but it can also be a powerful learning experience that can help us grow and become stronger.
