Broken Windows, Locked Doors

What went on before stays locked behind the door

Broken Windows, Locked Doors

Broken windows, whispers of past,

Echoes of lives that didn’t last.

Shattered glass, a tale untold,

Of dreams abandoned, left to the cold.

Old locked doors, rusted and still,

Guarding secrets against their will.

Keys long lost, their purpose gone,

Yet they stand, silent, all alone.

Time moves on, yet they remain,

Carriers of sorrow, joy, and pain.

Through broken windows, light still pours,

And hope peers in through locked old doors.
