Broken mirror

Fallen

The shattering,

Horrifying sound,

Jagged edges of glass

That fall to the ground

As I go to pick up all the pieces

I Pearce my skin

It then draws blood

From the jagged edges of the fallen mirror

I look up and see myself

Broken

just like this mirror

Shattered

Torn

And afraid

As I try to stop the bleeding

I start to weep

And fall to the ground

About the Creator

Jennifer lindquist

I’ve always had a interest in poetry since I took a creative writing class in high school. Writing poetry is my safe place where I can either get positive or sometimes negative energy out by my writing of poetry.
