Missing you is kissing strangers
Hoping that one of them becomes you
Missing you is searching at the bottom of the bottle
Without knowing what the hell I'm looking for
Maybe something to absolve some of this guilt
Maybe I'm looking for answers
Or to not hate myself
Or to feel something other than broken
Or just maybe I want to feel like I matter for a brief moment
Just the answer to why the hell this happened
Why any of it ever happened
And I won't find the answer at the bottom of a bottle
Trust me I've searched
Still searching
But what's one more gonna hurt?
