Broken Heart

12th Grade poem

By Sarah LovePublished 7 months ago 1 min read

Heart in my hands,

Shattered like glass,

You broke my heart,

Are you glad?

You painless, spineless fool!

Why did you play around

With me?

I did everything for you,

That you couldn't do for me.

You broke my dear heart,

It's in pieces now.

Lying in my hands,

Red and tainted,

Are you happy now?
