Broken dreams, a love that never grew,
Memories of what could have been,
Left with only tears, I try to ensue.
The laughter that once echoed now feels blue,
Replaced with silence, alone, within,
Broken dreams, a love that never grew.
The pain it brings, it cuts so deep inside,
Memories of love, a constant win,
Left with only tears, I try to ensue.
The love that once was, now just a side,
Washing away, leaving me in spin,
Broken dreams, a love that never grew.
So I'll pick up the pieces, try to stride,
The waves of pain, find a love that's kin,
Left with only hope, no longer to hide.
