Broken but not Shatterd
A poem about a broken woman who refuses to shatter

I may seem broken to all who look
But you should never judge the cover of a book
I have rough edges and am torn up a bit, too
But even imperfect people can depict a beautiful view
My heart is torn and I wear scars
My light may be dull,
But I shine like a star
I feel pain to the highest degree
But my eyes are open to all that I see
I may be broken,
But I am not shattered
My fractured pieces go together like a puzzle
Flawed, yet, whole
Displaying every part of me for the world to understand
