Broken

Lost Bond

In shadows cast by setting suns, we wept,

Two hearts entwined, but fate our love bereft.

With tears that fell like rain on autumn leaves,

Our love, once vibrant, now in memories grieves.

A love so deep, yet destined for goodbye,

In silent whispers, we watched it die.

The ache of parting, like a dagger's thrust,

Left wounds in both our hearts, a love unjust.

In dreams, I see your face, so bittersweet,

The touch of your hand, a memory I keep.

Though love has faded, and we're torn apart,

You'll forever reside within my heart.

So let these words be echoes of our pain,

A sad love story, written with a heavy chain.

For love, like seasons, has its rise and fall,

But in our hearts, its echoes will enthrall.
