Dwindling focus, not sure if it almost time for hocus pocus, my mind starts to stray,

Interrupting thoughts, can I keep to this groove that leads me astray,

Struggling to stay on task, I lose my way,

Time slips by, I didn’t notice and I miss missed the day,

Running from one thing to the next,

Action after action, but what is the context?

Can't seem to get back on track,

The noise in my head, it's too hard to pack,

It's time to take a break and step back,

Overcoming distraction takes time and tact,

Now, I'll breathe, relax, and try to unpack.
