Gatekeeper I see

But we can just climb over

Or bulldoze it down.

Thanks for reading!

This is inspired by Alyson Smith's challenge of writing a haiku a day for 50 days, inspired by songs and lyrics that are special to her.

So this is my tenth entry. A little context, I was never a fan of AWOLNATION, but I absolutely love what Arron Bruno is doing with The Barbarians of California. It's a lot rawer, still ridiculous but less poppy, more hardcore. Really Really Rad is basically a humourous takedown of elitist scenesters who try to dictate how people should act and who should be part of certain musical trends. Gatekeeping drives me insane.

Tina D. Lopez, Harper Lewis, Stephanie Hoogstad and my fellow Italian Sasha Desideri have also been doing this challenge.
