The laundry, it can sit a while

The dishes, they can wait

Today is not for breaking sweat

or worrying if I'm late

🧽⏱️🧽⏱️🧽⏱️🧽⏱️🧽⏱️🧽⏱️

The dust can chill there on the shelf

The chores will all remain

I’ll step away from everything

And quiet down my brain

🧠🧹🧠🧹🧠🧹🧠🧹🧠🧹🧠🧹

Instead, I’ll draw a bubble bath

And let the water steam

I'll wander off to Hyrule’s lands

to live in Link and Zelda's dream

I'll find a quiet space to write

Uninterrupted... s l o w...

I'll let the words just find their way

With nowhere else to go

The busy world can surely wait

The frantic pace can cease

For just a moment... just a breath...

I'll be perfectly at peace
