Invisible chains that bind us tight
A silent struggle, day and night
A weight on shoulders, can't let go
The mind a battlefield, with endless woe
The mask we wear, hides the pain
A smile on face, to keep the rain
A thousand thoughts, that swirl inside
A constant war, we cannot hide
It's okay to reach out for help
A light in the darkness, to guide yourself
To heal the wounds, that linger on
To find peace, a life to dawn
So don't be afraid, to ask for love
A hand to hold, from heavens above
To heal the scars, and mend the soul
A journey to wholeness, to make us whole.
