Though I love you;

And it‘s breaking my heart;

I feel I need to move on;

And that we need to part.

I must find someone different;

Someone new;

Someone not necessarily,

Better than you.

If I had the chance,

I would touch you the way you want me to;

If I had the chance,

I would let you caress me in your arms,

Until the late hours of the night;

If I had the chance,

I would love you;

However you’d want me to.

However, chances come and go so quickly;

Unfortunately, the few that come,

I never can catch.

Nothing has happened with you;

And I’ve waited so long;

That I’m moving on;

Before this chance is gone.

I don’t know why I’d put up,

With the games you play;

But I’m going to find someone who is true;

Someone who will stay.

And I know this I wouldn’t have to do,

If I thought that this someone was you.
