All I wish is to be small.

Unnoticed by most.

Small not in body,

But in presence,

In life,

But never of mind or heart.

Small is safe.

Never going out of your way.

Never speaking out.

Always tucked away.

If you're small,

You're beautiful,

Delicate,

Fragile,

A trinket an a shelf.

Never drawing unnecessary attention.

All by yourself.

Its easier too,

If you're small.

To disappear and not be missed.

To hide yourself in a conversation.

In memories.

In time.

To slip through the cracks,

And go along your way.

All I wish is to be small.
