Break of Pannotia

A poem a day

Ranges of mountains

Constructed with pride

From ghosts of sins past

Tended carefully

Crumble overnight

Fiery oceans

Swallow what remains

Valley shadows loom

Sunlight fears to tread

Thunders internal

Roaring close through force

Nightfall tows behind

Darkness mourns no loss

Dust covers this grave

Questions never asked

Collapse sacred trust

Silent wails grow dense

Atmospheric haze

Loved ones who lost faith

Turned to exhaustion

Then away from me
