IF you were the boss, would you cut jobs?

She walked into the

Room with bravura.

The men all sat up

Straight. Her ponytail

And glasses spoke of

An ensemble of

Poise and focus. The

Deal called for her to

Excise thousands of

Employees at the

Company. Some men

Wept. She kept a stern

Face. She knew that the

Venture had to be

Saved. The lost jobs would

Just mean that business

Would be put ahead

Of emotion. She

Removed her glasses

And leaned into the

Members of the board.

With a few slashes,

Like a sword, her hands

Cut into the air.

Each slice showcased the

Strength and smarts that she

Possessed. Her command

To dry the eyes of

The men who found it

Too sentimental

Sent shockwaves through the

Room. After her words,

She sat down and put

Back on her glasses.

Not a strand of her

Hair fell out of place.
