Bravery

Sometimes bravery

is hard.

The times I was

brave,

the world was turning

out of my control. The Earth,

spun so quickly, and I

had to act,

so fast, a furious

pacing of decision

making.

Sometimes I

made the right

decisions,

.

and sometimes

the decisions

burned me to ash.

.

But every time I was

brave,

.

is every moment I will tell

god

.

I deserve to be

in his presence

because I did

what was asked

.

when it was asked.

I never

.

flinched.

Nor regretted

.

those moments.

.

I will smile

at these moments

when my lover

.

finally takes me

during my final breaths

in this life.
