Bouncing Off The Walls

I can’t explain the feeling I’m having,

Just imagining the joy I will be feeling

When I see your smile again,

When I can touch your hand again,

When I can hear your voice again.

I’m bouncing off the walls with joy and excitement,

I am out of control.

Losing all focus for what I am supposed to be doing.

Just because you said yes….

You said yes, I can come see you,

You said yes, it’s okay.

My sight is blurred with nervousness,

My head is spinning, drunken with pressure,

My body shakes with the songs that are singing to me in my mind.

About the time that we already spent,

The joy that we already had,

And I wonder if we will feel the same when we gaze into each others eyes again..

I wonder if you will want to touch my skin one more time,

To kiss my neck to the right and to the left,

I wonder if you will whisper in my ear again like last time,

I wonder if you will want any of that,

or are you just going to be killing time.

I fear i’m not good enough for your liking,

I fear you would want younger ones better,

You have so many options…

And me, why me?

I’m bouncing off the walls with the questions in my head,

I’m bouncing off the walls for tomorrow instead.
