EGO
In your need to fight
for the option to be right,
do you even know the war that you are losing?
Pounding my silence
with your loud fear,
grievances will unfold.
In the end, I will be painfully right
because you refuse to be wrong.

ANTI-EGO
I wish to be the stardust
floating in the cosmos
shining magic
on the oasis of your heart;
fueled by firelight and candlelight
guiding a path
through the dark
you will find peace
in the glow of mystery;
it's written in the stars.
