Born to Corn
Photo by Markus Winkler on Unsplash

A rich city boy took his wife west to plant them some corn

Hocked the house for a farm, took the bull by the horn

Drought withered the corn, and the bull went astray

His wife with his farmhand took a roll in the hay

Now he's poor and single in the city where he was born
