Borderline

The sense, the eeriness,

It's everywhere. It follows you.

Impending dreariness.

The more industrial, the louder it cuts through.

Then come the headaches, the dizziness.

The delusions you misconstrue.

But are they fear induced fabrications, or are they actually true?

You feel a waft, and there it is again!

Our of the corner of your eye,

A familiar shadow lurking in your brain.

A regular passerby.

It comes and goes, causing stomach ache and back pain.

While your mind struggles to decode or demystify,

The rumbling growls like a jet plane.

Vibrations altering your membranes.

Teetering between the border of vision and sound

Emerges the paranormal.

But could they merely be sound waves coming from the ground?

For caught within the intangible portal,

Infrasound creates phenomena spellbound.

Thus emerging dark figures so scornful.

Therefore this question I propound,

Whether the spirits and science are enwound?
