crunchy, delightful—

bursting with intensity…

until they are gone

**********************************

Thank you for reading my very first haiku poem.

This has been a rewarding and educational assignment.

I was inspired to share my personal love of the wild blueberries growing naturally in Lac Saint Jean, Quebec.

They are less than half the size of those we buy in supermarkets, yet their intense, sweet and tart flavour—easily ten-fold.

The perfect blueberries for a sugar-dusted, mountainous pie—served, of course, with a generous side of delicious French vanilla ice cream. Or, simply popped into your mouth just as they are.

Whatever blueberries are to you—it is hard to deny their mighty power!
