Blue

I wish I was like color red

Am I unique? No, I don't think.

I'm just like you, and that girl in pink.

My eyes aren't blue, or green, or grey.

And I'm not cool. There is no way.

My hair is short and dark like night.

My laughter is loud. I'm never right.

My posture's bad. I don't play sports.

I always get good school reports.

All Disney movies make me cry.

I'm not outgoing. I am shy.

I eat a lot when I am sad.

I've never even met my dad.

I do like nature 'cause it's cool.

And I like chilling by the pool.

I want to travel, learn to fly.

And I love staring at the sky.

I want to be like color red.

But I am more like blue instead.

I wish I was more fun and brave,

And weren't afraid to misbehave.

But I'm not red 'cause I am blue.

And you don't know what I've been through.

From time to time I like to paint.

And for my mom I am a saint.

I often wish I was unique

And wasn't scared of critique.

I wish I was like color red

But I am more like blue instead.
