Blue

The color of freedom (2)

The blue

Of hidden mountain lake

Reflecting clear sky

It was inviting...

Cold, so cold-

But I just had to try

I stood on shore

Hesitant

And scared to the core

Blue was enticing

Calling me

But snow was still on shore

I stood right there

Watched the blue

Imagined the joy

And finally

I went for it

And swam without ploy

I swam in blue

Of mountain lake

Just cleared from the ice

I swam

I conquered my fear

The blue was my device

I was inspired

Almost high

From being crazy cold

The blue of water

Mixed with sky

And touch of sunshine gold

The color blue is what it takes

To lead to bigger dream

If I can swim

In freezing lake

That takes me to extreme

I dream of swimming in the sea

The oceans are so blue

Forget the cold -

I feel so free

Oh, what a joyous hue!
