Blue Hypocrite
a poem
The way you speak
Swirls and wriggles
Like a snake in a bush,
Losing the real meaning.
On the prowl,
Searching for a fool like me,
Words that don't align with intentions,
Trust shattered once
Now returns with an even greater force.
Knowing that I wasn't at fault,
Why would I still want this to continue?
Like a popular but terrible movie,
Instead of a timeless classic recipe,
In order to navigate these incredibly unpredictable waters,
I must have been the bait you desired.
It seems you aimed to entice me into your domain,
To help you forget about your imperfections
And unhealed scars that are impossible to shake off.
I believe it's time
To turn a mirror towards you,
And truly see things as they are,
From a neutral perspective,
Unaffected by your tainted
And a fabricated version of reality.
