Blue Burden

a poem

You've become everything I dislike,

leaving a bitter taste in my mouth.

It's strange and underground,

which you tried to downplay.

You were not interested at all.

Why?

I only feel regret

for listening to airy-fairy things,

an allegory

of a fruitless story.

They now symbolize a man

who only sought glory.

He tried to appear good to others,

but inside he was rotten,

like thousands of apples

forgotten and brown,

not good for us now.

I wrote a book about it.

It includes other creatures of this land,

not grasping basic truths.

These truths will lead us

to the shallow grave one day.
