Original art and poem, created by me.
Sometimes I’m blue
Like the waves of the sea
Sometimes I’m yellow
Like the sun and lemon trees
I know what is true
Like a compass in me
I know it’s hello
Where a goodbye should be
Because gray mornings rise
On one side of the world
While red sunset skies
Prove life isn’t earned
We are given a lense from which to view
We are given a chance to see the truth
The shades of our worlds are different hues
Someday I hope you see it, too
Surely someday blue won’t be blue
