Blood Red Drops

Salvation

By Michael LipseyPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

The wood was chosen with a crictical eye,

The carpenter knew someone would die.

Mary had a little lamb,

But the world knew him not.

They crucified the little lamb without a second thought.

The price for sin was paid that day,

That's why the lamb was sent.

To a lost and dying world,

the Lord God says REPENT.

The lamb stands knocking at the door,

will you let Him in?

I pray you remember the price he paid,

To take away your sin.

The job complete, red tears ran down his face,

Dripped upon the cross, which he left in place.

Search your heart, for the color all around,

I believe this is where LIFE is found.
