Laughter echoes against the walls,
The dominoes fall.
"Again, again!"
Shout the children.
Blankets scattered across the floor
The dogs are sleeping by the door.
Kicking their legs, running in their dreams.
"Keep the fridge closed, darling!"
A gentle reminder,
Would hate for the milk to go sour,
But nothing can sour this moment.
Time and the outside is frozen.
Love bathed in candlelight,
Making memories in the night.
