Sinking without a trace,

Bliss from the lips of the mundane folk,

Gracefully plotted to squander,

By echelons hanging from clouds,

Respiration used to be free,

Can be purchased at stores,

Water is now mercury to be spilt,

Greens found in pots,

The titanic found its trench,

Optimists have a stench,

Pessimists are on fire,

Middle ground found a pedestal bench.

About the Creator

Debaditya Dutta

Like a house, I go layers deep. Can promise the skill, and if its a gift, its been sharpened for close to a decade now. I have to become the samurai of ink, and that's only through careful, deliberate spilling of ink.
