THE PIER

12-17-2025

Old man fishing on a wooden pier

Quietly sitting..

Thinking thoughts deep, sincere..

Darkness creeps in..

Slowly,

Like an old woman going blind..

Mentally.

So hard to tell when..Exactly from when..or

recently,

Like thousands before her..delusionally.

The world is mad;

I am angrier!

Mom,

She says..

..no more worries..

..comes the night..

..the sun is down..

..no more light..

..just quiet, peaceful sight..

..shed your tears..

..it's all right..

Even murderers dream

Peace
