Blind Minds

Sweet Lies

By The Girl in GreyPublished 7 years ago 1 min read

How do you stand in between a lie?

Knowing the inevitable became true

The acknowledgement decreases it's size

Of course it's human nature to subdue

I could bow my head to wicked tongues

And tell the Dark One that he had won

I could be right, I could be wrong

Let the night shadows be gone

How to stay silent in the mist

Of the fog; of all this deceit

It's all easy with a poisonous kiss

Bowing at these undeserving feet

I could tell them what I thought

But that would be too easy

For now I'll be be quiet and rot

But one day, blind minds will find me

Love always,

Chayle
