Blackened Heart

All my wrong decisions

By Logan LeePublished 5 years ago 1 min read

Crashing hard crashing fast

Why does nothing last

Shattered heart shattered mind

When must I face my messy binds

Broken body broken sole

Will I ever mend the life I chose

Beating beating beating fast

My heart just may beat its last

Secrets, secrets, secrets always fall

Can’t I just unclassify the point of it all

Blackened, Blackened, Blackened shades of gray

My soul has begun to fray

Holy white, Holy knight

The white knight will save me from this fright

Black turns to gray

Gray turns to white

May I be saved for another night

To struggle for one last fight

My soul is black, black once more

A truth I can no longer ignore

If only I could find the back door

To bring life to a whitened my core
