Blackened Blue

On the horizon the faintest hue

Blending seamlessly

Mirror reflection

Quincunx bird flight in formation

Beating blues into submission

Thought salad tasting

A cerulean lake

Soft, breathing through

The smell of the wooden dock

As I lay watching the water lap

Through the gaps

Dancing geometry light interplay

Crystalline ice fairies play

Song dances vermillion

To Prussian depths dropped

Smooth duck egg stone plopped

Gentle diving down

Dividing horizon through

To a single point of

Blackened blue

surreal poetry
