sometimes, i feel sad

sometimes, i feel lonely

sometimes, the black just never stops flowing.

which way is up

which way is down

which way makes it crumble to the ground?

i don't know who i am

i don't know where i'm going

i don't know if i can hold back these emotions that keep growing.

they poke and they prod

they creep and they crawl

they make me feel like getting in a brawl

listen to my heart

listen to my mind

listen to my words just one time.

acceptance is hard

acceptance is new

acceptance is pain and not something I wish for you.

i'll keep moving forward

i'll keep pushing on

i'll keep my armor black, just like a swan.
