Ever since you came into my life

I bought new clothes

New colors all bright colors

I was trying to impress you

Showing you that I actually cared what I looked like

Actually taking more than ten minutes on my look

Standing longer than a second in front of the mirror

But when you left my world turned colorless

I threw out all the colors in my closet

The bright yellows and blues

Turned into sour blacks and whites

I didn't bother looking in the mirror anymore I knew what i'd find

A colorless girl with tear stained cheeks

Set in a fast-moving and colorful world
