Black

I feel comfort in the Black,

Avoidance of light,

Keeps me warm and at peace,

I feel comfort in the Black,

It is my security,

Which leaves me wild and free,

I feel comfort in the Black,

My achromatic savior,

It absorbs any, all, but me,

I feel comfort in the Black,

Where I can marinate in my macabre,

I'm calm, confident and icy

I feel comfort in the Black,

As I say dark sarcastic jokes,

And reveal tall tales of mystery,

I feel comfort in the Black,

Where I hold many others confessions,

I lock in secrecy,

I feel comfort in the Black,

I stand alone, no reflections,

No judgemental tones,

I feel comfort in the Black,

I am home.
