Tried to cut it off, but the signal too strong

Tried to write a verse, but the vibe all wrong

Tried to stay focused, but the noise too loud

Tried to find the quiet, but the quiet get drowned

Every ping another ping, every ring another ring

Every screen another screen, every thing another thing

I chase the moment, but the moment don't wait

Blink twice, lose the night, now it's already late

Mama say slow down, but the engine too fast

I gas it through the caution, pray I don't crash

Heart on the dashboard, mind on the spin

Eyes on the prize but the prize wearin' thin

They call it ambition, I call it a maze

Run every direction, still end up the same

Big distraction, it got the best of me

Now I'm lost in the static, can't find the recipe
