Big Distraction

Mirror on the wall, asking who I am

Reflection getting blurry from the Instagram

Filter on the face, filter on the truth

Chasin' validation, losing all my youth

New drip every week, new beef every day

New drama unfolding like a Broadway play

They love you for the moment, ghost you for the week

I smile for the camera, die inside my sleep

Scroll, scroll, scroll till my thumb go numb

Double tap the fake, now my real life dumb

Friends turn to strangers, strangers turn to fans

I shake every hand but don't know who I am

Clock tick-tock, but the hands don't move

Time wasting daily, got nothing to prove

Chasing every shadow, hugging every ghost

Big distraction got me, and it won't let go
