Big City Lights

Nights Spent Awake

Big City Lights

Big City Lights

Summer Nights

Long Rides Home

You lived so far away

Came in for the day

The days turned into

Nights spent smirking

Nights spent flirting

Doing things,

That you weren’t supposed to,

OI - COME HERE YOU

Run now -

Remember the time -

Vodka lemo and lime

Standing in line

For a beating

Clandestine meeting

Not even your fight

That was the last

It’s in the past

But you can’t

Help but remember how,

Push it from your mind, NOW

How he looked

On the floor there

A nightmare

Blood pooling behind

Big city lights

One too many nights

Spent awake

Wondering when,

Wondering if,

It’ll all catch up to you.
