In a world beyond our wildest dreams,
Where the impossible becomes reality,
Exists a realm that’s not as it seems,
A world of wonder and surreality.
Where mountains float and rivers flow,
Inverted landscapes that boggle the mind,
A world that we could never know,
In the recesses of our imagination confined.
Creatures with wings that breathe fire,
Trees that walk and rocks that sing,
A world that could never tire,
With infinite possibilities of anything.
The sky is not blue, but a shade of green,
And the sun is a glowing orb of pink,
A place where reality is not as it seems,
A place where anything can happen, we think.
The impossible is possible in this realm,
A world that’s both familiar and bizarre,
A place where the rules overwhelm,
And where nothing is ever quite as it appears.
So let us embrace the surreal world,
With open minds and hearts anew,
For the beauty and magic that it holds,
Can inspire us to dream and create anew.

I was going to relax this evening. Tune out, hunker down, look after myself. I need it. I am exhausted. Thoroughly used up. And it's only Wednesday. Not even half way through the week. A week that in the UK, is Mental Health Awareness week. I don't know who decides these things, who gets to co-opt a day, a week, a month, and declare it a thing about a thing. But I do know a lot about mental health. I know a lot about mental health AND I know a lot about working for the UK's National Health Service. And so it was with interest that I clicked play on the below video, earlier today. By the time I finished, I was in tears.
