Better in Colour

It looks better in colour.

Can't you see that the greys hide

the beauty of the flower

in all its unyielding glory?

Can't you see that the greys hide

the truth of the matter

in all its unyielding glory?

It looks better in colour.

The truth of the matter

is not black and white;

it looks better in colour.

I know that you agree.

It's not black and white

a disgraceful dishonour?

I know that you agree

if you believe in any justice.

A disgraceful dishonour

plagues many hearts of grey.

If you believe in any justice,

look on them in colour.

Plagues. Many hearts of grey.

Faint pinks. Stifled blues.

Look on them in colour;

it's far better that way.

Faint pinks stifled blues,

moody blues washed out greens.

"It's far better that way",

The thunderclouds claim.

Moody blues, washed out greens,

and all the faded rainbow,

the thunderclouds claim,

and shower them in grey.

And all the faded rainbow

see you deny them

and shower them in grey

so you cannot truly see.

See, you deny them,

and shower them in grey.

So, you can't truly see

they look better in colour.
