Shock, illusion shattered.

Guess friendship never mattered.

You wove such a convincing tale,

Hiding hatred behind a veil.

But how can you tell the truth,

Without looking uncouth,

When you don't even believe your own ears.

Must have been your own insecurity and fears.

Do you even care who you leave in tears?

What if the wrong person hears?

Such an awkward position,

Sitting here listening to your derision.

Just like you to manipulate.

I can't stand when berate,

Someone who was never anything but kind.

Do you ever wish you could push rewind?

Or do you not even realize what you did?

Hope you grow up, because you're no longer a kid.
