"Beneath the Winter's Breath"

"The Fragility of Winter's Peace"

By AnweshaPublished 2 years ago • 1 min read

It's winter here,

It's summer there.

Cold air brushing your skin,

Fog that clouds your vision within.

Like a fairy's dream,

The sun's cover envelopes you, it seems,

Like a mother's lap, so warm,

Blankets wrapping you in a storm.

You lie curled up in your bed,

Sweaters making your arms tuck in red.

Snow chills that make your cheeks turn pink,

You enjoy it, don't you, as you think? But here's a truth, a fact to bear:

Somebody's destroying this season so rare.

Guess who?
